Services

A focused list of water damage and interior restoration services for properties across New York. Each service is described in plain terms — what it includes, when it applies, and how it fits into the overall restoration process.

Water Damage Restoration

Water damage restoration is the full process of returning a property to a usable, dry condition after a leak, pipe failure, appliance breakdown, or similar event. Our work begins with an on-site inspection to identify the source of the water, the materials affected, and how far the moisture has migrated through floors, walls, and ceilings. From there we contain the area, remove standing water, take out unsalvageable materials, and start a structured drying process supported by daily moisture readings. Once the affected assemblies are dry, we move into interior restoration support — drywall patching, baseboard replacement, and finish work — so the space is ready to use again. Most projects in New York apartments and offices are completed in days, not weeks, when the response is timely and the drying plan is built around the specific materials in the building.

Water Cleanup

Water cleanup focuses on the immediate response phase: removing standing water and saturated materials before secondary damage develops. We use truck-mounted and portable extraction equipment to remove water from carpet, hardwood, tile, and concrete surfaces, and we lift and dispose of saturated padding, drywall sections, and insulation when those materials are beyond salvage. Surfaces are cleaned and treated as needed to reduce contamination, particularly in cases involving overflow, appliance discharge, or sewage backups. Cleanup is the foundation that the rest of the restoration sits on; if it is done thoroughly, the drying phase that follows is shorter, more predictable, and far less likely to leave hidden moisture behind a wall or under a floor.

Structural Drying

Structural drying is the controlled process of removing moisture from the building itself — subfloors, wall cavities, ceiling assemblies, and structural framing — after standing water has been extracted. We design the drying plan based on the materials involved, the volume of moisture, and the conditions of the room, then place the right combination of air movers and dehumidifiers to achieve a balanced drying environment. Daily moisture readings are recorded so we can confirm that hidden assemblies are drying, not just the visible surfaces. In New York buildings, this stage matters because trapped moisture inside walls and floors is the most common cause of long-term issues like warped flooring, lifting paint, and persistent odor — all of which are avoidable with a properly executed drying phase.

Moisture Control

Moisture control covers the detection, mapping, and reduction of moisture inside building assemblies — both during a restoration project and as a standalone service when a client suspects a problem but isn't sure of the source. Using calibrated moisture meters and thermal references, we can identify where moisture is sitting in walls, floors, and ceilings, and we can monitor whether levels are improving over time. For active issues, moisture control is part of every drying job we run; for passive concerns, such as recurring stains, musty smells, or a slow leak suspected behind a wall, it can be performed as a focused inspection that gives the property owner a clear picture before any larger work is decided on.

Leak Damage Cleanup

Leak damage cleanup addresses the localized aftermath of a single-source leak — most often from a supply line, a dishwasher or refrigerator connection, an HVAC condensate line, or a roof or window penetration. Even small leaks can produce significant interior damage when they go unnoticed for days or weeks. Our work in these cases is to assess what has been wetted, dry the materials that can be saved, remove what can't, and clean and treat the area before any cosmetic repairs begin. In New York apartments where a leak in one unit affects the unit below, we can also coordinate work across the two spaces so that the cleanup and drying happen in the right order and the rebuild is straightforward when it begins.

Interior Restoration Support

Interior restoration support is the work that takes a dried-out space and returns it to a finished, usable condition. This includes drywall patching, baseboard and trim replacement, painting prep, flooring transitions, and the final cleanup that makes the area ready for the property owner or tenant to move back in. We position this as support because in many cases the client already has a preferred painter, contractor, or building staff who will perform parts of the rebuild — our role is to bring the space to the point where that work can happen cleanly. For clients who would rather have one team carry the project through, we can manage the full restoration sequence from cleanup to final finish.

Residential Services

Residential restoration work in New York means working inside someone's home — often while they're still living there. Our residential service is built around that reality: clean containment, organized work areas, predictable schedules, and clear communication with both the resident and the building staff. We handle apartments, co-op and condo units, brownstones, and townhouses across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Typical residential calls involve upstairs supply line failures, dishwasher or washing machine discharges, ceiling damage from leaks above, and slow leaks behind walls. We work with property managers and building staff to coordinate access and to keep neighboring units informed when needed.

Commercial Services

Commercial restoration work has a different rhythm: tenants need to keep operating, building management has access and after-hours rules, and the materials involved — commercial carpet, glued-down floors, partition walls, large dehumidification needs — are often more demanding than residential work. We handle office floors, suites, retail spaces, ground-floor storefronts, and mixed-use buildings, with after-hours and weekend work available for situations where the space can't be taken out of service during business hours. Documentation and progress reporting are part of every commercial project so that property managers, owners, and other stakeholders have visibility into the work as it progresses.
