Apartment water damage cleanup

A one-bedroom unit on the Upper East Side experienced an overnight supply line failure in the unit above. Water reached two rooms and the entry hallway. We responded the same day, removed standing water, lifted saturated baseboards and a section of damaged drywall along the affected wall, and set up a drying configuration with air movers and a dehumidifier. Daily moisture readings confirmed the subfloor and lower wall sections returned to dry standard within four days, after which the interior restoration phase began.

Office drying after weekend leak

A Midtown office tenant returned on Monday morning to find that a riser leak above their suite had soaked a portion of the open workspace and a perimeter conference room over the weekend. We worked after-hours that evening and the following nights to extract water from carpet and pad, lift sections of carpet for under-pad drying, and dry the affected partition walls. The space stayed in business through the week with the drying setup running each evening.

Ceiling damage repair

A condo unit in Brooklyn had a ceiling section come down following a sustained leak from the bathroom directly above. We coordinated with both units to have the leak isolated, then removed the damaged ceiling material, dried the joist bay and adjacent wall cavity, and supported the interior restoration work to bring the ceiling back to a finished surface. The work avoided further migration into the surrounding rooms.

Wall moisture issue

A homeowner on the Upper West Side noticed recurring stains on a section of wall in a back bedroom but couldn't identify the source. We performed a moisture mapping inspection, located a slow leak from a chase line behind the wall, opened a small access section, and dried the affected cavity once the source was repaired. The owner was then able to complete cosmetic repairs on a known, dry surface.

Retail space cleanup

A ground-floor retail space in Brooklyn took on water from a service line break in the basement below, with moisture rising into the back-of-house storage and a portion of the sales floor. Our team performed extraction, removed saturated baseboards and a base section of drywall, and ran a drying configuration sized for the space. The store reopened the following morning while drying continued in the back area for two more days.

Residential restoration job

A multi-room residential project that combined drying, drywall and finish work, and final cleanup after a kitchen-area appliance failure damaged the adjacent living room. We carried the project through from initial response to interior restoration, returning the space to a finished, livable condition without the homeowner needing to bring in additional contractors.
